| Introduction | Hadley Court is my family’s summer home where I spent my summers as a child. Every day at Hadley Court was a celebration of fine living. My mother, my style icon, taught me that fine living wasn’t about acquiring expensive trinkets but more about enjoying every day pleasures we so often overlook. To be a guest at Hadley Court was a true pleasure. My mother attended to every last detail. She would pay close attention that the bedding was perfect and that there were flowers by your bedside. My mother created beautiful and comfortable living spaces so that friends and family could enjoy one another. Meals were served on a beautiful tabletop with food from recipes handed down through the generations. During the day we might take a day trip and travel to explore new places. Many evenings were spent on the back porch watching the sun go down. My friends, I hope you join us often so we can celebrate fine living, just as I did at my beloved Hadley Court. |
