About me

Gender Female
Occupation Homemaker (with a desire to be a Funeral Director)
Location United Kingdom
Introduction Hi My name is Jo, I am a forty something stay at home Mum, and live in a lovely (but high maintenance) Victorian cottage with my husband Andy and our 17 year old son Louis, as well as 6 Pugs, one cat, seven chickens (three rescue ones), a house tortoise and a water salamander! I originally trained as a General Nurse in the 80's, then after the birth of my son returned to education, completing an Honours degree in Criminal Justice Studies and Sociology and then a Post Graduate Certificate in Education before going on to teach in an adult male prison (which I loved). I really always wanted to become a Funeral Director. I adore vintage and antique textiles and am a mad collector of mainly 20's and 30's costume and textiles. I also have a collection of vintage mannequins that are slowly but surely taking over every room in the cottage. Hope you enjoy my postings and please feel free to leave comments I love reading them. Jo xx
