Introduction Born in NJ. Moved frequently as a child, from Maine to Florida but lived mostly in coastal South Jersey. After working as a paraprofessional in libraries from 1972-1979, I received my MLS from Rutgers 1n 1980. I consider myself quite fortunate to have worked in a wide range of library environments from special to public. I have 3 wonderful sons. My oldest is a teacher at Ocean City Middle School. My middle son is a student at Northeastern University. The youngest is a senior in high school. Truth be told, I have 6 sons: 3 human, 2 canine (1 Great Pyrenees, 1 Jack Russell) and 1 feline (Maine Coon).
Interests Reading of course, aerobics, martial arts (Muy Thai or the science of eight limbs, Kempo), gardening, museums and travel, beachcombing, bird and bat watching, fond of snakes, and other creepy crawly creatures, vegetarianism, attending continuing ed workshops

Yes, I warmed the petals. I'm also "in charge" of capturing any insects found in the library and setting them free.
