| Introduction | I am an avid seamstress, gardener, runner, reader, nana and wannabe artist. My love of sewing began in high school. Using a vintage Singer sewing machine I created my first article of clothing. Since then my focus has expanded to include, among other things, tote bags, wall hangings and most of all quilts. I love every aspect of quilting from chosing the pattern to selecting the fabrics and finally adding the finishing touch through machine quilting. The whole process resembles that of creating a wonderful painting. The colors, textures and stitches all work in harmony as an expression of our creativity. Until now my passion for fiber arts has been limited to my own projects. My desire is to expand my horizons by offering my talents to help fellow quilters complete their vision. |
