| Introduction | When I was a girl, my grandfather said I had "busy little hands." I'm a lot older now, but I stil have busy hands. I love to paint just about anything and my favorite medium is acrylic. I'm always enticed by the patterns and texture of fabric, which is why I taught myself how to sew. My husband is amazingly supportive and says I'm "crafty, crafty, oh-so-crafty." I love to poke about in antique stores and my favorite shops are thrift stores and craft supply. I named this blog after the understated beauty of the Tallgrass Prairie that can be found in the Flint Hills of Kansas.
