| Introduction | I am a southern girl, having lived in rural Louisiana and Texas for most of my life. I am a lifetime Texas Longhorn, graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism. I moved to New York City in 2006 in pursuit of a career in publishing. For the past three years, I have worked at Forbes magazine—currently as a project manager for the Special Sections group. I have always enjoyed dance and art as hobbies; in my spare time I take ballet and studio art classes in the city. I look forward to living abroad some day. |
