Introduction Yorkshire born and bred, I get quite opinionated (although I try to always be able to support my arguements). Please feel free to challenge anything said on this blog (politely - my mum might read it!) I am studying for an undergraduate Masters degree in Chemistry at Warwick Uni. I spent last year on placement in Oxford, testing engine oil lubrication. I've got an unhealthy obsession with anything first aid related. Hence the amount I do with St John. I'm a Patient Transport Attendant with St John Ambulance, and am going to go back to uni to train as a paramedic when I graduate, something I decided whilst on placement. I used to be heavily involved in the Scouts, but that seems to have fallen by the wayside a bit since moving here. Will hopefully get back involved when I'm back at uni next year. Please drop me a comment letting me know how you got to this blog - I'm interested to see how different ones of you came across me!

Favorite Movies Jarhead - awesome film, even better book! Trashy action films that require no thought whatsoever.
Favorite Music Kind of becoming more mainstream now (due to being subjected to Radio 1 far too much. Still can't stand Moyles though!). Still enjoy my hard rock and metal. I must confess I also quite like some emo music (the older, good stuff - Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab for Cutie... - none of the modern 'emo' crap). Miss Saigon and Les Miserables are awesome musicals.
Favorite Books Jarhead again! Anything action packed that requires no thought! (Same as films then really!)

How do you pronounce the 'g' in bologna?

As a 'y' in between the n and the a. ie. Bolonya Is this right?
