Introduction | I'm an amateur fan of climate and weather observations. I'm more interested in the evolution of human ideas than I am in the intrigues of individuals and the conquests of nations in history. My journey through the world of Theology has taken me from the excessive logical conundrums of the Calvinism into which I was born through the Crisis Theology of the early twentieth century, most notably Barth, Brunner, and Bonhoeffer, into an indefinite, less rigid position that looks favorably on key ideas lost in the ancient purge of gnostic "heresy" and in the reflections of advocates of tolerance such as Erasmus of Rotterdam or Montaigne. |
