Introduction | I'm a thirty-something "good enough" mom who drinks copious amounts of caffeine. My husband and I have one amazing seven-year-old and an adorable one-year-old, both of whom we adopted from China. The Husband and I recently celebrated our tenth anniversary together. It's been a wonderfully exhilarating roller-coaster of a marriage. Did I mention I throw up on roller-coasters? Because I do. Perhaps that wasn't the best metaphor. The Husband truly is the love of my life. I feel blessed to know him and stunned that he married me. I majored in psychology in college because I wanted to figure out people. Over a decade later, I still can't figure out myself, much less others. I am short-tempered, insecure and horribly grumpy in the mornings, yet my God loves and accepts me anyway. It's unbelievable ... and true. |
