| Introduction | Well, I'm the mom of a 2 year old girl named Vivi, and I have had so much fun making these dolls for her. I have always loved the "Dolls from around the World" theme. I think it's a great way to learn about different cultures. So I think her collection will continue to grow as she gets older and I'm looking forward to when she will give me input on what kind of doll to make next. I have to admit that so far, the grown-ups might be more into it than the kids! :) As you can see I have a lot of friends, mostly grown-ups, who help me with the personalities and the questionnaires. It's really fun! I mean, if you like playing with dolls... :) So I'm new to knitting and what I really love about it making these dolls is that you can try new things and you don't need to commit to a million skeins of yarn and hours and hours of work. Everything is so little that you get to make lots of small quick-to-knit things and then move on to the next thing. (Great for my short attention span.) |
