Introduction After spending most my adult life working on cruise ships in Hawaii, the Caribbean and Europe, I met and married the man of my dreams on a ship in Hawaii. We were married in 2005 both at the top of Mt. Haleakala at sunrise and on the beach in Kauai. Just before our retirement from ships in the summer of 2007, I went into pre-term labor at only 26 weeks and gave birth to our daughter, Cadence Malulani. Cadence was only 1 lb 11 oz and 13 inches long when she was born. She spent 87 days in the NICU. We currently live in Nevada where I am a stay at home mom. I enjoy baking sweet things that do nothing for my waistline, reading fluffy chick lit and things that make me laugh, writing blog entries that are so long only my family will read them and trying not to get lost with my absolutely terrible sense of direction. Noah and I became licensed Foster Parents in January 2009 and have had the privilege of giving 11 children a temporary home throughout various times in the last six years. Our biological son, Keegan was born in 2012. And we adopted our foster son, Luca in 2015.
