Introduction Mike's first wife, Sue, died of cancer early in 2005. While resigned to a life of miserable widowerhood, Mike stumbled across Leece, the Recovered Fundie, and found that there was another, much pleasanter option. Mike is now Leece's heathen photographer and general factotum, and finds life once again is good. Mike served 20 years in USAF, with 5 Combat Skyspot tours in SEAsia. He retired in ‘88 as a Master Sergeant, then served as a police officer with the La Junta, CO PD, having begun as a reserve officer while still in USAF. Retired from LJPD in 2003; now in IT. Before USAF, Mike went through the Naval Apprentice Program at MCAS Cherry Point, ending that as a journeyman aircraft metalsmith. Mike has a B.S. in Business Management from Ricker College. Mike has taught in Cisco's Networking Academies and in several law enforcement academies, and is still a POST-certified firearms instructor. In blogging, Mike often goes by "CatLover." However, despite the fact that he loves cats, most days he really can't eat a whole one. He likes the Canon 5D MkII with a 30D as second string. Mike rides a Fisher X-caliber.
