| Introduction | Textile art, hand weaving, embroidery, textile history, exhibitions and creating with your own hands - this is what I'm passionate about. I run Alice Lund Textiles, a hand weaving studio in Borlänge and I also do research about Swedish textile art. On this blog I intend to write a bit about what I do in my everyday life - mostly about what happens at work, but also other textile events happening around the country. My hope is that this blog will be able to inspire other textile interested and that it will be a forum for textiles - both as art, joy, knowledge and heritage. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Textil, handvävning, broderi, textilhistoria, utställningar och skapande med händerna - detta är vad jag brinner för. Jag driver Alice Lund Textilier, en handvävningsateljé i Borlänge och jag forskar också utifrån ateljéns arkiv. Och på denna blogg har jag tänkt att skriva lite om vad jag gör i min vardag - mest om det som händer på arbetet men också om andra textila händelser som sker runt om i landet. Min förhoppning är att denna blogg ska kunna inspirera andra textilintresserade och det ska bli ett forum för textil, både som konst, glädje, kunskap och kulturarv. |
