Introduction	I'm just your average middle-aged guy who's wanted to write ever since he can remember, and I've been told I have certain level of talent. I've been cooking since I was old enough to stand on a stool to reach the stovetop, and I developed a love of good wine in my early 20s. This project is about sharing my passions and, if the moon tide and stars align properly, make a couple of bucks. Please feel free to add your comments or send me an email at any time. I'm not writing this blog for wine geeks or for people who are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America. There are places for those people to exchange ideas, this just isn't one of those places. I'm writing this blog for the average person who might be afraid to tackle something like smoking a brisket, or who just wants some new ideas for dishes. Now, given that I AM a wine geek, there's a link to Winerberserkers on the main page for people who want to discuss the intricacies of fine wine. Enjoy, and come back often.
