| Introduction | I have been in Andhra Pradesh media for the last two decades. I am an alumnus of the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ), Chennai, and I have bachelor's and master's degrees in Communication and Journalism from Osmania University, Hyderabad. I received gold medals for achievement in both the programmes. I worked with The Hindu, Mail Today (India Today's English tabloid) and Eenadu newspapers. My friend turned better-half, Hema, is also a journalist. She did her MCJ from Kakatiya University and started her career as a rural reporter based at Nalgonda for "Zee" TV. Later she worked for "N-TV" in Hyderabad as a senior reporter before taking a break from reporting. Now I am teaching basics of reporting, specialised reporting, magazine journalism, development communication and Communication-soft skills in three premier institutions. I am doing my PhD in journalism in Osmania University on 'Ethics and Journalists.' |
