Introduction	I moved to Westchester County, New York, over a decade ago. It took me some time to get used to the county. I was born in and have spent a large part of my childhood in Kolkatta, India, a large city with lots of people and a love for food, literature and soulful conversations. The remainder of my early days was spent traveling, due to my father’s multinational job. I was until recently a very urban person. We had our children now 5 and 7 and over the years learnt to live and love all things natural in our backyard. We have a harvest of greens, berries, cherries, tomatoes, okra and various other things that show up with recipes in our blog. My husband and I love food and love to try out new restaurants, check out local wineries and breeze through food festivals. Overtime with a desire to share my love for food and cooking with others I started teaching Indian cooking classes. Food and cooking keeps me grounded between the craziness of raising my two beautiful children and job. I do hope you like my blog and please tell me if you like my recipes.
