Introduction	I have a BFA in fashion design. I worked for a brief time in the industry until my passion for color, texture and pattern propelled me from clothing design to a new world of floral design. I packed my bags to live and study amongst the tulip fields of Holland where I earned a Masters in floral design. Upon returning home to home to my native Chicago I put my skills to work for several years. Love brought me to Las Vegas three years ago whereupon I became a stay-at-home mama. All along I remained anxious to stay connected to my inner artist and designer. With this as my intention, I started Flowergirl! It remains a constant source of accountability, support and inspiration for my art addiction. And, I have once again switched tools - this time from clippers and floral tape to watercolor, ink and colored pencils.
