Introduction	Communication. It's what I do. It's what I teach. It's who I am and I love it. The listening, the talking, the sharing, the laughing. And...it's why I'm starting this blog all about speech and language. By now you've guessed it: I'm a speech-language therapist who helps kids communicate. And yes, I even get paid for it! I work in a public school where there is only 1 of me. Yes, that's right, count them: 13 grades and I love every one of them. I also do some private practice after school. I graduated from The University of Akron with a masters in Speech-Language Pathology. I'm married to an amazing husband, Jesse, who puts up with my silliness . No kids yet but I have a small poodle-dog, Toto, whom I absolutely adore. Finally, I love Jesus. I want Him to define me and hope my students see some flicker of light in me that makes them question... Thanks for reading!
