| Introduction | Daniel Kowal, 33-year old triathlete who currently resides in Saint Augustine, Florida. Born in Philadelphia, PA , but moved to the New England area at a young age and took residence in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine before moving to northeast Florida in 2002. Holds a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Sport Management from Seton Hall University and is a sales and marketing professional with ten years of experience in the sports and tourism industries. Currently works as a sales associate for Open Road Bicycles in Jacksonville, FL and for Nike-St Augustine. He has competed in numerous Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, has competed in four 70.3 distances and completed Ironman Louisville in 2010. He qualified for the 5150 Hy-Vee U.S Championships this year in Des Moines, Iowa and for the USAT Age Group Nationals . Earlier this year, he coached children prepare for their first triathlon has mentored athletes prepare for their first triathlon and coached athletes looking to push themselves within the sport. He hopes this blog will serve as an inspiration to all triathletes and triathlon hopefuls. |
