Introduction	Born & raised in the Midwest, went to college & got a BA in Art, was a waitress for a year, then a cabdriver for about 4-5 yrs. Got married, had 2 boys, got a job at the local newspaper & have watched it go from exacto knife, border tape and waxing copy onto a page to doing everything on the computer & T-1'ing it to the printing plant. My last 20 yrs. have revolved around my youngest son, Lukas, who has Cerebral Palsy. At age 12 he started having pain in his knees and after multiple visits to doctors and the torture of botox shots, we progressed to surgery. I can't even remember now how many he's had. 7, I think. The good of it, it has kept him out of a wheelchair; the bad of it, nerve damage in one foot that left him without control in his foot, and he still has pain in his knees. Anyway, in between all of that, I got back into lampworking beads and pen & ink drawing. And we got an RV so we can travel with Lukas.
Interests	All kinds of crafts and arts, horses and animals of all kinds, mountains and wide open spaces, gardening, herbs, watching birds, and most important of all, the Bible.
Favorite Music	Enya, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Bruce Springsteen
Favorite Books	Elizabeth Peters Amelia Peabody series, Andre Norton is an old favorite, Science Fiction & Fantasy, Art books, Craft books
