Introduction I cycled competitively as a junior up until the age of about 16. I raced for the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) at both State and National levels on the track and road after being selected into their Talent Identification squad. I completely gave away the sport after that, for almost 7 years. During that time, I enjoyed what some people would call the “uni lifestyle” and completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Justice Studies. It was only about 1 year ago (2008), when I got admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland, that I decided I needed to take up a hobby. I decided to give cycling another go. In doing so, Irediscovered my long lost passion for the sport. I entered my first race in November 2008 being the Fusion Criterium and since then, it has become an obsession. So now, I relive the dream yet again. Where this journey will take me, I have no idea! But what I do know is that I will be having fun a long the way.
