| Introduction | Hello. I don’t know how many times it’s gonna take before I get this right. Probably never. Since I am still trying to get over this whole ‘how to talk about your accomplishments without sounding like a complete jack ass’, I will start here. I am confident. A little neurotic. I’m a prisoner in my subconscious mind–in which, I feel the safest. I hate the word creative. Partially because I can never take myself seriously, yet I keep doing “artsy” shit. I hope through this I can inspire someone. Someone…who, like me, outside of fashion, music, writing, and other mediums of art, feels like a complete loser. I’m an author. A singer. A songwriter. A graphic designer. And I love fiction. And now that we’re coming to the end, I realize this letter is just one big contradiction. I guess we’re all just a little confusing, unorthodox…Mavericks in our own right. At the end of the day, whatever I am, I know one thing: I’ll never make excuses or issue out any apologies. , xo |
