Introduction	I am a native Quincyite. Taking pictures of my community and sharing them in a daily photo blog has added a nice balance to my life. I try to stretch myself and try new things with my equipment and photo subjects. I also like to research some of my subjects and share the findings.
Favorite Movies	The Snowman, Victor Victoria, Tootsie, Lady and the Tramp, Dumbo, Stand and Deliver, Norma Rae, and so many others . . . I guess I'm a kid at heart.
Favorite Music	Anything by Copland and Gershwin is always welcomed. Mozart's Requiem is sublime. I also like listening to film scores; they give you a great sampling of the many genres of music.
Favorite Books	Outermost House (Henry Beston), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Good Earth, anything by the Bronte sisters . . . just for starters Photography books: The World I Love to See (Ulrike Welsch), Photography & the Art of Seeing (Freeman Patterson), The Photographer's Eye (John Szarkowski), Kertesz on Kertesz.
