Introduction Hi My name is Susan Snow and I live and work on Prince Edward Island. My company is Moving Designz Interior Decorating. I love my job! I opened a store "Moving Designz Home & Cottage" to feed my addiction to great design and shopping. I think it's a fabulous store with lots of beautiful furniture and hip home decor. We are located at 98 Fitzroy St in downtown Charlottetown. My design studio is now located inside the store with plenty of beautiful fabric books, furniture and lighting resources.
Interests Interior Design, Shopping, Gardening, Cooking, Listening to music, Writing, Socializing, Internet Junkie, Watching movies, and I seem to be having a LOST moment. Yup, hooked on that damn show.
Favorite Movies When watching movies I am forever checking out the houses. My favorite movie house is the beachhouse Diane Keaton owned in "Something's Got to Give". I also quite liked the condo in "The Break Up". Quotes from movies often stick with me. Meryl Streep in the Devil Wears Prada..."no, no that wasn't a question...". Favorite Movie star... Brad Pitt... 'nough said.
Favorite Music My choice of music depends on what mood I am in and what I am doing. I like just about everything except country. Well, actually I do like Cash no pun intended, well maybe. Then there are times when I can't stand to hear anything except peace and quiet. I like upbeat and gel well with the music style of DJ Champion from time to time.
Favorite Books I wish I had more time to read novels. Once upon a time I used to read prior to sleeping but I gave that up. How can one concentrate on the plot or storyline if you're half asleep? I just can't do it. Mostly I'm a browser... and read design books. I like the entire line of Pottery Barn hardcovers. Recently I purchased Kelly Hoppen Style, I love it. Has some terrific rooms featuring clean lines and modern decor. I read stacks and stacks of design magazines including Canadian H&H, Style at Home, Elle Decor and Ideal Home. In fact, I usually have a stack within close reach underneath the coffee table at home. I like cook books too, although I'm at the point where I just make up the recipe or confirm ingredients on the net.
