| Introduction | I grew up on a farm, surrounded by fields, carrots, tractors, and a big and beautiful willow tree that my sister and I used to swing from. My mom stayed home with us and instilled within me a deeply rooted desire for all things creative and crafty. Now I live in the city for work and economic reasons, surrounded by the sounds of public transit, visions of skyscrapers, masses of people, stores upon stores upon stores. My heart is in the country although there are things about the city I do admit to enjoy. |
