| Introduction | I’m the proud single mom of three stubborn, lively, fabulous kids. There's my video-game obsessed 14-year-old, Peabo, so called because he spent a full year in preschool insisting that was his name. And my diva, 11. Her secret identity is Veggie Girl, because she can eat whole cauliflowers blindfolded. And then there's my redhead, age 7. He used to really hate nicknames, so for a long time he didn't have one. But now he wants me to call him Jay. So Jay he is. My 14-year-old has Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD. The other two don’t, though some days they aspire to. Together, they’re a handful. I blog on the things that make my life interesting, which mostly means my kids and sometimes means food, because I really like food. And sometimes it means something totally different, like knitting. |
