| Introduction | "Maven: Someone who has an intense interest in a specific category..." And should be an expert which I am not, but I have the "intense interest" part down! I am a Mom, Nonna, Christian and Empty Nester. I love creative outlets and seeing how the Lord teaches and encourages me through them! Shortly before the half century mark, I began to build 4 houses with Habitat for Humanity (all at the same time), one of which was mine. Now that I've settled in and figured out a few ways I'd like to personalize my home, it's time to take a few risks, learn new skills, hone old skills and create some style with thrift...time to stretch my wings and soar! Here's to sharing my humorous, less-than-expert, but successful...sometimes, forays into the world of DIY. God challenges me to use all the talents He's given me...so the adventure begins!
