Introduction I started this blog in 2008 to provide a much-needed positive perspective on gluten-free life. Now, over a decade later, it is great to see so many positive gluten-free advancements and optimism about life with celiac disease. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in January 2007, after five years of symptoms. I eat strictly 100% gluten-free and am very cautious about cross-contamination. For over 8 years, I worked at NuGo Nutrition as a social media specialist. I'm lucky to have worked for a company that makes over 20 certified gluten-free protein bars and cookies! I previously wrote several articles and the New For You column in Gluten-Free Living Magazine. My daughter is now a college student. She does not have celiac disease. She loved helping me with my blog when she was younger. During elementary school, she wrote reviews of gluten-free books for kids on this blog. Now, she has her own book review blog and is a staff writer for her college newspaper! Follow me on Twitter @MarylandCeliac.
