Introduction	Lauren Teresa is a student and an educator in the field of student affairs. While completing her Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science and Sociology at James Madison University Lauren became a resident advisor.In this role she found a passion for working with college students. Lauren is now pursuing her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology (concentration: College Student Personnel Administration) at James Madison University. She has worked at both a large public university in the south and a private, research university in the north. She has worked and volunteered in varying capacities, in Residence Life, Judicial Affairs, LGBT Student Services, Student Wellness Services, Academic and Career Advising and Events and Conference Services. She enjoys the challenges that come with a diverse array of roles; and finds opportunities for new learning experiences both exciting and meaningful for her personal and professional growth. Lauren hopes that her contribution to the field of student affairs will be reflected in the personal growth, civic engagement and leadership of the students with whom she works and learns.
