| Introduction | I started smoking when I was 14 years old. At age 32, I was diagnosed with cancer. Disgusted with myself, I vowed to quit smoking. My struggle lasted 3 years before I was able to quit for good. I now teach others how to Stop Smoking and Stay Quit with a program that I developed that has worked for thousands of smokers. I have received The American Cancer Society Cancer Control Volunteer of the Year twice, as well as receiving the Spirit Award two times. I have been trained as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist at the Mayo Clinic. |
