Introduction Hi, I'm Morgan. Thanks for visiting. This blog is a food map of my memories. A vegetarian at 13 I subsequently had to teach myself how to cook. The people in my life are my biggest culinary influences followed by the hometowns of my mom and dad; Charleston and Baltimore. I like ice cream, watermelon, room temperature European butter, lamb, shellfish and anything salty and briny - olives, capers, anchovies, fish eggs, smoked salmon. I don’t like beets, baby corn or apple sauce. I have an over pronounced disdain for Americanized Chinese food and fast food pizza chains. By day I am an architectural lighting designer living in Atlanta. My modern, post-nuclear, blended family consists of me, my spouse, our two kids and two rambunctious dogs. I enjoy cooking, gardening, traveling, entertaining, drinking wine, laughing, reading about food and obsessively planning menus for parties that never happen because they never existed to begin with.
