About me

Introduction The creation of new roses, by rose hybridizing or rose breeding, is a practice into which one enters with awe and anticipation. Through cross pollination, or the "mating" between two roses, brand new, never before seen roses are produced from seeds. Note that one can plant 100 seeds from the same parent roses and each rose seedling that sprouts will be unique, different from all of the others, and different from each of the parents. Just like children from a large family, you may see family resemblances, but no two children will be exactly alike. Rose hybridizing has been a hobby that I have enjoyed for the last 25 years. It is a journey into which I have set out to find unique roses. It is a journey, however, without a true destination, for it is along the path that new roses will be found. You are invited to join me on this path to new roses.....
