| Introduction | I was born and raised in Madison, WI and still call it home. My first favorite Wisconsin author was and still is Michael Perry and I started looking for more and more Wisconsin authors after reading his books. I also love fiction books set in Wisconsin, such as The Dive from Clausen’s Pier by Ann Packer, Wingshooters by Nina Revoyr and You’re Not You by Michelle Wildgen. Borrowing the idea from the local food movement, I’d like to focus my blog on local authors and their books. I will mostly be reviewing books I check out at the library. Even in this recession, there is not enough focus on our local libraries for books and resources. My blog is first and foremost an outlet for my enthusiasms for reading, libraries and great books.
