Introduction I've been writing all my life but only seriously got into aiming for publication in my late thirties. I had my first short story published seventeen years ago and have lost count how many I've had published since. More recently I took up serial writing for Woman's Weekly. At the last count I think the number of published serials had reached ten. Mostly, my stories are published in Woman's Weekly and Fiction Feast which is part of the Bauer publishing stable, though I have had stories published in My Weekly, that's life! and The Lady as well as Australian Women's Weekly and magazines in Norway and Sweden. I've also dipped my toe into YA fiction and have one novel still available on Amazon - albeit second hand! - "Model Behaviour" and "The Lives and Loves of Finn" a Hollyoaks tie-in. I write cosy crime, romance, humour, time travel - well, anything really that provides a plot. I hate to be pigeon-holed. I'm also a mother of four more or less grown-up children, a qualified teacher of English and EFL and have taught creative writing.
Interests reading, fashion, shopping, films, rubbish TV, the history of languages, listening to other people's conversations.
