I like to drift where the current takes me within this endless sea of blogs, read what others write in their blogs, observe, learn, question and, hopefully, understand, while offering a few comments of my own along the way .... by the way, the photo of me actually is me .... was me .... will be me .... hmmmm ....

Favorite Movies "The Ghost Writer", "Archangel", "Flags of Our Fathers", "Bourne Identity" (but not the two sequels), "Gladiator", "Kingdom of Heaven", "Deliverance", "Full Metal Jacket", "The 13th Warrior" (although the novel was a classic demonstration of pure plagiarism by author Michael Crichton), "The Big Sleep" (both versions), "Sunset", "The Missing", "The Ghost and the Darkness" (I once was a hunter and better than those guys), "The Red Tent", "Breaker Morant", "Don't Come Knocking", "Blind Horizon", "The Pacific" (HBO mini-series) ....
Favorite Music All-time favorite group is Boston, also Deep Purple, also Rainbow, also U2, Cheap Trick, Uriah Heep, love Diana Ross, all-time favorite song undoubtly has been "Free Bird" (Lynyrd Skynyrd), but recently replaced by "Son of Alerik" (Deep Purple), but also love "Layla" (Derek and the Dominos), "Stairway to Heaven" (Led Zeppelin), "Nothing Else Matters" (Metallica), "Still Loving You" (Scorpions), "Lady" (Styx), "Gimme Shelter" (Rolling Stones), "Carry on Wayward Son" (Kansas), "Alone Again" (Dokken), "Stay" ... just a little bit longer (every version ever sung), "Love Hurts" ... love to dance to it (Roy Orbison or Nazareth), love the sound and the feeling of "Four Stong Winds", not to mention traditional (religious) Christmas carols, or stuff by Richard Tucker or Andrea Bocelli or Sarah Brightman or Placido Domingo or Luciano Pavarotti, Bach & Chopin are gods, this list could go on forever ....
