Gender Female
Occupation Aspiring writer/library assistant

Introduction So I like to write. Most of my stories are science fiction or fantasy or some strange combination of the two. Life is busy.

Besides writing and SFF, I love dolphins, dinosaurs, penguins, sewing, the ocean and the stars, violins in rock music, and studying ancient religions. I'm a dog person with a black panther of a kitten, eight million types of tea, and enough books to make moving not very fun.

This blog's title may seem self-deprecating, but it's a tongue-in-cheek attempt at saying that we're all amateurs. There is always more to learn.

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

Does it? When I lost teeth, the blood tasted more like iron than anything. (Makes sense. Hemoglobin.) I never thought of pennies.
