Introduction | I'm a 20-something school teacher with an M.A., working to put my brilliant husband through his doctoral program in theology. I'm an Arkansan, born and raised, who was recently transplanted to New Orleans--talk about culture shock! I love Jesus, my husband, my family, books, all things southern, shoes, Lilly Pulitzer, shopping, teaching, children, Sunday afternoon naps, cooking, health and nutrition, anything monogrammed, checking the mail, Christmas, sweet tea and Coke Zero, music, movies, road trips (travel in general), giving and receiving presents, encouraging others, entertaining, creativity and crafts, learning how to be better at my job, anything pink, green, red, or yellow, polka dots, cookbooks, magazines, flowers, and blogging. Please feel free to follow along as I journey through life. We may not know each other, but I like to think we'd be friends if we met in "real life." |
