Introduction	Darryl is a graduate from the University of Winnipeg with a BA (Kin.) specializing in Athletic Therapy. After graduating, he spent a year in London, England practicing as a Sports Therapist, a Sports Massage Therapist and a Personal Trainer at one of Europe's most prestigious fitness clubs, Esporta. He certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association in June of 2003. Darryl is the owner of Active Therapy & Sports Injury Consulting and Athletic Therapist at Joint Effort Sports Injury Clinic. He specializes in the assessment, treatment, and reconditioning of all athletes, including 'Industrial Athletes'. He applies a systematic assessment of the entire kinetic chain associated with the injured area, determines specialized rehabilitation based on assessment findings, physical demands analyses, and treatment of underlying pathology slowing recovery. Darryl is a professional firefighter and licensed paramedic with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. He has also been involved with numerous provincial, national, international and professional sporting competitions, both treating athletes and performing medical coverage of the competitions.
