Favorite Movies Les enfants du Paradis, La Strada, The Lives of Others, Apocalypse Now, Cinema Paradiso, Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources, Annie Hall, Manhattan, Zelig, Un Coeur en Hiver, Heimat, most Eric Rohmer, most Louis Malle, pretty much all the Ealing Comedies and a lot of Powell & Pressburger.
Favorite Music Piano nerd. Love chamber music, Beethoven, Bach, Wagner, Boulez, Ligeti. Championing composers who happen to be female. Liszt could continue.
