Introduction	My mum taught me to sew and knit when I was younger. I used to make all my clothes as a teenager as a cost-saving exercise and they were pretty fast and dirty. I made a resolution in 2010 to pick up my sewing again with two main aims: 1) Increasing my skill level 2) Learning more about fitting I'm a freelance writer when I'm not working in PR (which is now). In a previous life I worked in children's and educational publishing. I love and horde books, patterns, fabric and yarn. You'll probably see bits of all my loves creep in on this blog.
