Introduction | I am an Environmental Engineer working to make the world more sustainable through green buildings and neighborhoods, through effective and efficient project management, through education and example. I seek to reduce my carbon footprint by living small, traveling light, and eating local. My background is in water & wastewater engineering as well as power plant environmental compliance and power plant operation (so I know, first hand, the true cost of flipping that light switch). Also experienced in construction safety and environmental compliance, stormwater, root cause analysis, diversity training, and human performance improvement. (HPI). I am a cancer survivor, the parent of three boys (now grown and successful young men), and one son who did not survive cancer. While I admire programs that work to "cure" cancer, I work every day to prevent cancer - a more cost effective strategy. |
