| Introduction | This blog started as a marathon-training diary, but has since evolved into a blog about writing and my thoughts on life in general. I quit my job in publishing to become a full-time writer, and I'm currently working on my first novel. I'm a runner, an avid reader, and a (not so new) puppy's mama. |
| Interests | Likes: Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, writing, good conversation, good books, good music, running, long walks with the dog, traveling--especially to England (and more specifically to London, though this has been hampered by the decision to write full-time). Dislikes: Spiders and broccoli. |
| Favorite Movies | Love Actually, The Hours, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones' Diary, The Holiday, Bend It Like Beckham, Calendar Girls, Shadowlands, Miss Potter...I seem to have a theme of sorts. Also, The Constant Gardener, Gosford Park, The Painted Veil, Driving Lessons, Meet the Parents, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Big Daddy. I'm a sucker for happy endings and silly humor, but I do like serious movies too. |
