Introduction	Upon the birth of my first child, I realized that I was responsible for creating all of the childhood memories that will shape her for the rest of her life. Years later, I admit there are moments that I would like to erase from their memories. However, most of the time I strive to fill their life with as much physical and verbal love, security and magic as I can. My husband and I live for our girls and get immense joy from watching them get so much pleasure out of life. I really enjoy being a part of their experiences, so I serve as an elected member of the Board of Education and as the Manager of all the Girl Scout troops in our town, while continually playing the roles of sideline cheerleader, minor injury nurse, emotional counselor and security blanket. I often wonder what my life will be like when they've grown up and moved away. Fortunately, I have at least 12 more years before I have to think about that!
