| Introduction | We are not a temple, but we are a community of Buddhists and non-Buddhists of different backgrounds that have come to gather to practice Buddhist meditation living in Hidalgo County {Rio Grande Valley region), Texas. This facebook group serves as an additional support and network in the community. Hidalgo County emcompasses the principal cities of Mission, McAllen, Edinburg, Pharr, San Juan, Alamo, Donna, Mercedes,Edcouch-Elsa, and Weslaco. We make an effort to meet every Thursday at 6:45pm in San Juan at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hidalgo County Bldg., 1401 S. Nebraska Avenue. Our meditation group is open to Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. Flor de Nopal Sangha is not affiliated to any particular tradition or group. |
