AW Tozer "The Knowledge Of The Holy" (1961) Five years after AW Tozer's warning, Time Magazine's cover asked, "Is God Dead?" (4/8/66) because the church couldn't explain God's Nature in a non-contradictory manner. Three years later, the church in America responded with "The Godless Christianity Movement": Christianity would have to survive without an orthodox understanding of God. Ever since 1969, the church in America has not only been UNABLE to explain God's Nature, it looks down on ANYONE who is able to do it...completely opposing AW Tozer's warning! This blog presents the non-contradictory explanation for God's Nature and Grace...which is the key to resisting Universalism. |

My oldest daughter would describe me as Gregory House (from the TV show "House"). She got me to watch a House marathon and I can see the similarities. From the outside, everyone thinks he's rough and cocky. However, he is focused on getting to the truth in the Long Term by posing a lot of models and actively inviting a group of people who are different than him to tell him where he is wrong. He values people who are different than him and are able to prove him wrong. He understands how being wrong in the short-term is necessary in order to determine the truth in the Long Term. My favorite people in history are: Jesus, John the Baptist, Daniel, Joseph, CS Lewis, Claude Monet, Frank Lloyd Wright, Ayn Rand, Aristotle, Plato, and Isaac Newton.
