Kimbery Durdin

About me

Introduction Greetings! My name is Kimberly Durdin, IBCLC, and I'm the Director of Lactation Services and a parent educator at The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center. In addition to my work as an IBCLC, I'm a childbirth educator, speaker, trainer, former birth and postpartum doula, retired La Leche League Leader, and mom of six. I credit my children for guiding me to my work helping parents-to-be. I teach childbirth classes created for home-birthing parents, as well as breastfeeding and parenting classes. I also work part-time with Lansinoh. I love being able to help parents in their journey to raise their children. The community is also a big priority for me, so I hold weekly meetings for new moms, where they can meet and form strong bonds of support. I'm lending a hand to "Soul Food for Your Baby," an organization devoted to raising breastfeeding rates among low-income African American moms. I'm excited to begin working with moms online by contributing to OnCloudMom!
