Introduction Hi there - my name is Liz and I've been a foodie since discovering gourmet Italian was more than just a box of spaghetti, a jar of sauce, and a pound of ground beef (that's mince to my Kiwi and now Aussie friends). I view cooking as 'destructible art', something to be enjoyed and shared from the minute you buy ingredients through the act of creating and consuming. After gorging myself on the amazing food blogs out there for months, I've finally decided to join the renaissance and contribute my own collection of recipes, tips, and tricks to the growing legion of web-enabled foodaphiles Now a transplanted American having spent 6 years braving the Wellington, NZ winds but now moved to Sydney, Australia. I enjoy mixing and matching my own food heritage with the eclectic menagerie of interesting ingredients and techniques I've discovered in here in Aoteroa (and beyond).
