| Introduction | My name is Lauren and I currently reside at home with my ma, pa,brother J.J., and on occasion my big sister Meg (25). I work at a Pre-School though ideally I'd love to spend my day rolling out dough,whipping egg whites,and leveling cakes. Despite recently graduating from college with a B.S. in Psychology I've come to a hault on my so called journey through life... I have no idea what I want to do with my life.I often dream about buying a one way ticket to Paris to attend pastry school. Sometimes I envision myself planted infront of a computer with papers scattered about writing a screenplay.For now I have found joy in teaching pre-schoolers how to write their own names. Everyone asks me what I am going to do now, insisting I figure it out soon. I'm 22 and still have a lifetime of work a head of me, hopefully this temporary pit stop won't totally deter me from my destined path. Anyway, I hope to find some sort of an answer to that pestering question "what are you doing with your life?" Just like creaming butter and sugar you need to be patient and wait for it to reach the perfect color and consistency-- it's a process you can't rush! |
