Introduction | I live in beautiful Minnesota, the land of 4 seasons and 10,000 lakes. I love crafts! Ever since I was a kid I have always been interested in making things. I can remember when I was little and my twin sister and I would always be making things for each other. For the past 20 or so years we have always made each other birthday cakes (on our birthday of course). I also love to make children's items and my passion has always been designing jewelry. When I was 13 years old I went to an auction with my dad and bought a huge box of strung freshwater pearl beads for $50.00. A few months later I set up at my very first craft show with my aunt and sold earrings that I made with the pearls. It was a huge success and I have been creating jewelry ever since. My aunt owns a bead store now and I am lucky to be a buyer for her store. I love shopping for interesting beads and making jewelry. I also teach jewelry classes at the bead store. |
