| Introduction | I am a transgendered woman, and am still married to my wife. We have a seven year old son, who is mildly autistic. I am scheduled to finish up a long delayed geology degree at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, starting next spring. I intend to go on to law school. I am an Army veteran, and served from 1992 to 1996 in 5/17 Cavalry, 2/4 Cavalry and 3/7 Cavalry as an OH-58 scout helicopter mechanic, doorgunner and crewchief. I worked in commercial aviation as a structural mechanic on passenger aircraft until I was badly injured two years ago. I am now the stay-at-home parent until I return to school next year. |
